THE SPECIAL EDITION

PREFACE

We wish all our readers, members, writers and poets a happy and peaceful world to live in. THE SPECIAL ISSUE of our monthly poetry journal “OUR POETRY ARCHIVE” is now online. In this special issue we are focusing on INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM and war to lend our individual voice for promoting world peace and prosperity. Let us speak out against terrorism, violence, blood bath, and for peace prosperity and harmony among different cultures, religions, race, and nationalities to make this world a better place for our future generations.

We think it is also the moral responsibility of poets and writers alike to put their protest, agony, pain and sufferings in words in this period of political turbulence everywhere. Nobody is sure about who is the offender or protector. Innocent people are dying in the most violent manner one can imagine. There is no security for the citizens around the world. People have lost their belief in the honesty and integrity of the society and political institutions alike. You don’t know where to turn for shelter and security. You don’t know when the next suicidal terrorist attack will occur and where. Such is the situation in most of the regions of the world.

So this is the moment to shift our focus from mere literary work to use literature to voice our individual protests in a collective manner. No, this is not a political debate for us. We are only concerned with the security and prosperity of human beings everywhere irrespective of their cast and religion, race and nationality, beliefs and doubts, language and culture. This is the time we thought OUR POETRY ARCHIVE should come out with this special number focusing these issues and addressing the world in poetry for peace against war and terrorism. And we are glad; we have got a huge response from the literary communities all around the world.

We are also happy to announce that our friends and members around the world have contributed their time and provided suggestions, guidance and strong support to make this special edition possible. We especially thank Dr. Mary Miraglia of Italy for her guest editorial for this edition. We also thank Ms. Lilian Dipasupil Kunimasa for extending her kind support and working hard to make this edition possible. Our thanks goes to all the members, poets and friends who were directly involved in this collective project. This edition really belongs to them. Without their support and contributions we couldn’t have made it possible.

We invite everyone to visit this edition and share it with your friends and families. We would also like to request our readers to provide us with your valued feedback so that we can carry on with our journey improving OUR POETRY ARCHIVE in a continuous manner.

Thank You All.

DR. MARIA MIRAGLIA

GUEST
EDITORIAL

Let's feel no wonder because of the terrorist attacks that so much have made the media talk all over the world. This would be a colossal naive and make us ignore all the historical events that have so often stained with blood the fields of the world and still do, most of the time, for questionable reasons. Besides, if we simply wanted to analyze the causes of wars and conflicts on a worldwide basis, we'd find that they were raised for reasons the ordinary people usually didn't understand nor share. Wars have never changed for the better the man's quality of life, but left destruction and deaths involving in that people whose innate desire was to live long their ordinary lives, not to break them on a battlefield, but called to war in the name of their country. So the question comes naturally: what is a country if not an extension of land of a common house called world? Some of them were also given medals for their value misused according the numbers of deaths left on the fields.

Being so wide and deep the extent of the issue, some moments of collective outrage can't be enough to aspire to a lasting harmony among the people of our planet, it requires the perseverance, on the part of intellectuals around the world, in the defense of peace, universal rights, the rights of all children, regardless of genders, to education, which alone can free from intellectual slavery more dangerous and frustrating than labor slavery.

Poets, among them, endowed by life or by Someone up there, of the ability of large visions, have the chance to spread awareness of the value of each single person, of the possibility that the political -economic power be exercised for the good of a global community.

This is the aim of all the friends and poets who have contributed to this work, and surely they will keep going on persisting in their desire for a better world where religious diversity, skin color or political affiliation do not make us see in the other the enemy and consider diversity as a common richness not as division. Meanwhile, let us all rethink of a new order of the public thing that can see in the citizen of the world the main actor of the socio-economic and political choices, that's of his destiny, what is, instead, held in the hands of few even in the most advanced democratic societies. Their dominant ideology to preserve nationalistic structures ignoring the common good. The territorial divisions have been thought by men and can be torn down by them to consider each and all citizens of one world.

ALHEMAIDY
IS IT COMPLICATED.

Looking at the walls of my room,
Thinking of the political borders, worldly zoom,
Want to write about the terrors and wars
Such problems can be solved by words
Of better understanding, will, and right
Right for sure not by illegal gain and fight
Killing innocent people has no good reason
Love grows naturally. Yet, hate is learned on
And on by evil people and media
Is it complicated idea?
Shall evil people ever learn?
Good words instead of terrors and wars.
Evil is evil here and there
Anytime anywhere
What is the best effective solution to local, national,
And international conflicts, wars, and terrors?
A clear clean judicial systems
Am I right?

NO TO WAR

Bloody fields,
Rivers of blood,
Why risk that all?
Peace..!
Let’s talk peace everywhere,
In the neighborhood, the world.
Let others know we care,
For war, we don't dare,
Stop fighting, and say NO!
Open hearts people,
Let love flow and lead,
And nurture those broken homes,
And victimized souls,
Take heed, take peace.
Smile all the way,
Save the world,
Stop the Wars!
No to War!

SACRAMENT

Bend the knees of the Moon
to undress the Cosmos,
and torch my Heart
along the flaming grass.

Sketch merely for yesterday’s tomorrow,
caress the moments
to denude the World
from hypnotic garments.

Then…. Only then it is possible!
To discover your Every-Ness…

To become a No-Body among some bodies.

Unfolding centuries of untold hidden stories,
where... hellos transform into goodbyes,
and... the ritual commences.

QUIET STEPS

I
somehow sit
this rocker fits
inside of me
i dwell
moments
of mention
a detention
invoked by myself
twas my intention
whats said is love
but is it really?
dark avenues
the ones I treck
those
hardened
corners
with no return
wallow
i must
lifes crazy fuss
for here inside
of my head rush
every time
i see me
i wonder if
how lone am i
the days begin
a coffee filled
inside my grin
but deep inside
this crazy ride
as life does view
mistakes
now written
people pass me
on the streets
some
even greet
to say then
that they did
how
is it then
we say
we are sane
we see such things
as birds do sing
so ears may ring
to such tones
of
lost
a man
carrys a child
whos life did pass
before his eyes
looking on
his fight of war
with some remains
inside a jar
in as much
so prince appalled
invincible
retrace able
re tracked able
as they matter
i dont think so!!!!!!!!!
then i see
that lady then
wanting to be
friends again
after all
she sells
whats
dearest held
as her youth
slides away
that drug
overdone
the flee for fun
has left her side
for 25
assured a ride
to please a habit
one
just cant buy
whipping stones
are that our bones
as we fall
upon the ground
and then a group
makes ones head
loose
in the name
of mans disgrace
how inhuman
how sub human
how
so
grew and some
inside of that
is some ones fun
fed is cattle
but
man cant feed
and no one cares
of human needs
the clothes we wear
the phones we share
and tablets there
under
developement
a rustic pose
for those who
knows
and in
a shell
we stand alone
maybe its safe
not to look
might just see
what we impose
and so i sit
here home alone
as i watch
TVs throne
ITS SAFE!!!!!!!!!
OR IS IT?

IN SLAVE,
THE GREAT
MISTAKES
of the chosen!!!!!!

It
was
her
curse
TAKEN
AS
A
YOUNG WOMAN
GROWN TO SERVE
TAUGHT TO PLEASE
DROPPED
TO THE KNEES
BITTER THE FEELS
LOVE IS NOT HERE
To her
confines
lust the tool
her live by rules
to this she
was shown
her
grow to known
Sad
end
and
Bitter
Her best friend
mans lesson
to
brake
the horse
His
in chains
employers gains
the work horse strain
MAN and DINGOED
FRAMED
WOMANS
desired mains
the tears of pains
HE
HAD
LIVED
THROUGH
THE LONG KISS
of Darknesses
WE STill
seem to Grope
shack killed and
led and roped
the bad
Still Taught
and used today
Now
pills and drugs
takes its place
and prostitution
plays its game
and labor
via children
remains
the same
ONE
Still Feels
they must control
the streams of flows
to pin the cost
of being bold
And
Mothers eyes
who have
lost their Prize
the rivers
of tears
oh how
they share !!!!!!!
and
Fathers
laments
his child
sold
at birth
to pay
the rent
of their toils
HOW FLUID
this
thought remains
to increase
the damaged stains
our hearts display
in this Rental
our time in days
CAN NOT
CONTINUE
CAN
NOT
REMAIN
the theft of children
to their dismay
THIS TWO MUST END!!!!!!!~!!!!!!

LIGHT

i wish
the things i saw
spoke
to me sooner
perhaps they did
just
didnt
hear
it
as
ears do ring
:AR
i thought
the things i knew
would put me threw
so confused
as birds do fly
so consistant
so resistant
so involved
with selves advice
i walked
many a mile
and the smiles
the gin in gisters
a
mile
in
shoes
burnt
many a sole
the storys told
for wisdoms sake
now unfold
to raise the soul
to see
in light
and in some cases
a waltz
through fright
of some delights
in blow by blow
remembered of
the we in heat
the many feats
of life we drank
as so it goes
the missing tones
required notes
to fill this song
in that we touch
and so we share
the pleasent trees
abreast and flowered
like the branch
of many limbs
twisted in rhyme
as winds do blow
the spoken chimes
as they sway
as they speak
on two each other
as time goes by
i chose
to wonder
did i see?
AND OF WHICH LIGHT!!!!!!
_____________

I BOW DOWN

IT IS THIS GIFT
EMOTIONS BRING
IT IS A LIFT
THE HEART

IT IS IN PRESENTS
THE LIGHT

SOME OF THEM!!!!
FEAR VENDERS
INVENTERS OF
JELOUSYS MYTH
CREATORS OF
THE UNREST
THE REST
LOST IN LIFE
LOOSE
IN THE WAY OF
STREETS
THE PARENT BODY!!!!
UNJUST FINGERS
IS THEIR ROMANCE
AS THEY POINT
AND SHOW THE YOU
OR IS IT?
A SEASONED BATCH
OF ILL FAY TEDDY STEW
JUST TO CONFUSS
REVERSE THE VIEWS
OF THIS FOGGY DANCE
BEAT DOWN MONGERS!!!!!
OH THEY HUNGER
TO BRING THE DOWN
IN TALENTS UP
IMAGINE
HARD TO FOCUS
IN THE RUSTY
TO JUSTIFY!!!!
THE WHY
THEY LIED
AND TRIED
PAST REASON
TO REPLY
IS IT NOT
INTERESTING AT BEST
THE TIME THEY TAKE
TO CREATE THIS STATE
ILLUSIONS !!!!
on painted tint
shady hits
upon the mists
a war!!!!
of spoken words
FIC-TICH-IOUS FRIENDS
INTO THEIR BENDS
WANTING THE END
OF PIECE
AND PLENTY
THEIR OWN
grown mistakes
no retakes
a glance
of fancy
i bow down !!!!!
for this i know
for in its show
ALL DOES GLOW
one does look:
_______________

MY TEARS:
SHAKEN MOMENTS

my tears
cry their own
so tested
in emotions
fears dwelling
within the heart
to release
and grasp
the edgings
of visions
so moved
invented events
a hearts laments
in shares
of caring
i weep
internal
for seeing brings
contested views
i swell within
my convictions
and share pain
with every drop
as angry thoughts
convince emotions
dont
want
ever
mists
my tears hear
the seeing eye
as we distroy
ourselves in life
and human
i bend at thoughts
wars best friend
we never look
and see us well
the land we have
oh we must fight
and stand a ground
mens just and gist
incorrect evils
with a twist
to reinvent
just what means all
now we have gone
and our children
grow to know
those mistakes
of our folleys
and in our lake
of tears we shed
and in its crys
the wars must stop
a child hearts lost
by our dispears
they will have the tears
of their own
and in those hearts
theyll grow to know

I CRY OUT:
MANY HAVE SAID (BRING OUR GIRLS HOME)!!!!!!!

many thoughs
have passed this way
a worldwide view
i would say
can you not ,
boko
hear your own hearts
as it yells
and speaks to you
i cry out!!!!!
to open minds
i feel those!!!!!
so closely touched
i reach for
the thoughts
of serious man
to try remember
of that your mothers
pains
for if she lost you?
what would it be
the desease that killed
of broken heart
the pains of knowing or not
if you survive
how do you face her?
in your plight
i know
in your heart
THIS
IS
NOT
RIGHT!!!!!!
and in this
as you attempt
to envoke your wisdom
you have lost face
not more than a common thug!!!!!!
you take and rape
our youngest flowers
if done to your mother
how would you fare
as you try to devour
the world sez
these are my daughters
and we wont stand
for their slaughter
race and religion
gains no ground!!!!!!cc
the dumb
founded nesses
so blindly seeked
makes our world stand
in front of you
DISGUSTED IS YOUR NAME!!!!!
BRING OUR DAUGHTERS BACK
